All is Good – Blenheim Look Forward Through the Fog of Speculation

On Thursday 23rd of June 2016, 52% of the British population voted for our government to leave the European Union. Since then, there has been a lot of speculation for the future of the UK property market with most coverage focusing on ‘uncertainty’.

The reality is that very little has changed – the process of leaving has yet to commence and the main cause of uncertainty has to be around what happens next. Does anyone really have the answers?

It would appear that few expected the decision, but now that the cards are on the table, we have no other option than to move forward. Blenheim Park Estates were founded during turbulent times within the property industry. Our commitment to excellence and determination to succeed has proven that businesses can continue to grow through challenging times.

The final quarter of 2016 has been very much business as usual. We have continued to build on our portfolio of beautiful properties and we have secured sales at a similar ratio to the number of properties that we have brought to the market.

Unfortunately, our view forward remains clouded by the fog of speculation, but from our experiences, we feel that the property market will weather the storm and expect property prices to remain strong throughout 2017 with the exception of London who we expect to be hit the hardest.

No matter what the future holds, we will continue with the determination to keep moving forward. It’s time to stop searching for answers and work hard to secure more instructions and property sales. There are valued clients that we have yet to meet and we look forward to assisting them in the sale and purchase of their properties.
