Review of 2022

January 2023

2022 began similarly to how 2021 finished, with plenty of new instructions, viewings and multiple offers on properties across the board. During 2022, we are proud to have sold a value of properties that accumulated to an overall asking price of £50million. The housing market in Sheffield saw a positive growth with asking prices that are ten per cent higher year-on-year*. Furthermore, there is still a positive demand for properties new to the market moving into 2023, with a four per cent* increase on the last normal housing market in 2019. 2023 has already proven that the housing market stands in a price sensitive position, making it imperative that we, as estate agents, price realistically to place properties in the best position to sell and align with the ever-changing market.

Throughout 2023, we will continue to replicate our success as a quality and service-focused estate agent as building relationships is at the heart of everything that we do both with our clients and the local community. We are pleased to be supporting several schools in Sheffield with our partnerships including; King Ecgbert School with their first ever school production of Matilda The Musical, along with supporting the Sheffield Girls High School movie night and assisting in the development of the Totley Primary School sensory garden.

Similarly, we continue our strong partnership with the Sheffield S6 Foodbank (part of The Trussell Trust), to combat food poverty in Sheffield. As well as volunteering at their Philadelphia Campus, since March we have raised over £7,000 to assist them in supporting the growing numbers of people in need within our city.

Last year, our Christmas fundraising achieved a total of £1,000 for Kidney Research UK, our Blenheim football game and golf day raised £500 in aid of Diabetes UK and we continued to donate to and be a drop-off point for the Radio Hallam Mission Christmas Cash For Kids Collection.

As a company, we are continuously trying to reduce our impact on the environment and have invested in two fully electric company vehicles. Throughout 2023, we will continue to explore new methods of reducing our carbon footprint to help protect the environment and planet.

During 2023, we look forward to assisting buyers and sellers in finding their dream home within the Sheffield, Yorkshire and Derbyshire regions.
